I'm fleshing out my 'Quest collection of monsters, and Gorgons have reached the top of the hit list. I've found these so far, but does anyone know of some other good gorgon/medusa miniatures that would be suitable?

(Valiant Miniatures: The Fire Witch, Gorgon Sorcerer)

You need three gorgons at level 5, so thats three different designs in all. Any help greatly appreciated :-)

Cheers,

Why no use a combination of witch elves with daemonette heads? I've not found any gorgon models that look right for WHQ. GW has a distinct style and I don't usually like using models from other ranges.

Another one from Reaper (very similar to the DarkSword one)

Also, Otherworld do a Medusa with legs (though I prefer the snake body myself)

Rackham also did a few, (I wasn't that fussed though);

I used one of the old metal daemonettes (not the bald giant-lobster-clawed ones, the ones that released with 6th ed chaos). I like them better than the current plastics because their "hair" is just an extension of their skin and therefore looks more serpent-y.

You'd have to either a) convert them not to have claws (even though they're much smaller claws) or b) come up with a reason why your gorgons have claws.

There's also the old Slaanesh champion of Chaos, Dechala, who had a serpentine body and 6 arms or something like that.

Another cool Reaper alternative:

Thanks for all of the replies :-)

Some of those models look great, particularly the reaper ones.

I'm really torn between the serpent bodies and the more humanoid ones, but I think I'll go for two of the reaper ones with the serpent bodies, and the Visions in Fantasy one as well.

Now just to find a UK outlet for reaper minis...

Thanks again for all your suggestions

Foundry have just done an Ancient Greek Myths & Legends range. They have a set of 3 with two warriors who have been turned into stone. I don't have a link but they're easy to find. And on the low priced side for Foundry too....

I love reaper minis and use them for new heroes and high level individual enemies for my bestiary. I ordered a load from America a while ago but the postage was a bit much.

Now if I buy any more I tend to look on ebay as they have a permanent seller on there (just type in "reaper miniatures") or as I live in London I can go to Orc's nest on Earlham street as they have 2 whole displays of reaper minatures. If you live in London I recommend that shop 100%.
