Hello avid painting enthusiasts, my name is Gary. My friend Tom and I have decided to set up a PLOG to help us stay motivated and complete a couple of projects we've had on our painting shelves for a while.

I've only got a few pics to start us off so check back soon for more progress. I will be painting armies such as HE, Daemons and VC with a smattering of random projects in between while Tom will also be doing VC along with Beastmen, so stay tuned!

My hobby area at a busy time

Mysterious floating Quavers

Test fig for DE, but i have too much else to do!

Recently finished 'fex

Some Guard, but relax, this will be a fantasy PLOG! (mostly...)

Some Archers from my HE, i really need to finish the rest of the army!

I err, umm, yea...

You're off to a great start with the traditional smattering of excellent painting, hover-snacks and embarassed mogs.

Painting looks really good and the Garden of Morr bases look interesting - look forward to seeing more! (or.. Morr! ..couldn't help it :shifty:)

Hello, I'm Gary's friend Tom! I'm not really quite as good at painting as Gary. Here is a sample of a genuine unit filler I took in a tournament army:

Known as my infamous 'hands on bases' by my friends.

So my aim with this Plog of all things is to try and get better at painting and generally just actually paint an army rather than painting part of it, then buying some of it off ebay, then getting my friends to help me dip the rest on the night of a tournament (has actually happened!)

So I'm going to be adding to my VC army and eventually painting a full beasts army (which is partially assembled). Below is my Vamp model, a resin Iliad miniature. Although a fantastic figure, the left hand was warped badly when I got it so I've cut off both hands and am planning atm on their replacements.

Everyone always paints their vampire armour gold, black or red, so I'm going with silver I think (although I may still go with a red cape ;)) with gold trim.

Another model I've been working on is my brass bull conversion, based on a juggernaught with lots of mini pieces thrown in.

I'm not sure how soon I'll get round to painting him since there are other more pressing bits of the beasts army that need doing, but I felt like there should be something beasts on my initial post!

And finally the obligatory picture of a cat, this one is actually mine! He's called Spencer...

What's all this 40k blasphemy Gary!? And how come your pictures have come out a lot larger than mine? :(

Relax! It was part of a commission.

Also, use Imageshack for all your hosting needs.

Man, i'd really forgotten how gash those unit fillers are, but the Brass Bull kinda works! :)

@ Demortu - thanks a bunch. There will certainly be Morr where that came from!
