Depends on which army you want the bits for. Space marines still have the Iron Hands set (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440273a&prodId=prod1140236) available which includes bionic parts. You could look for those on e-bay if you just want the parts.

Also the Space Marine Character Conversion Set (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/SPACE-MARINE-CHARACTER-CONVERSION-SET.html)from FW

The Space Marine Plastic commander has a Bionic Arm that's, inexplicably, holding a Chainsword.

If ever there was a call for a range of bits independent of an army, a Bionics sprue would be high on my list.

Try a Google search for '28mm heroic bionic', gives a number of manufacturers including Kromlech and Maximini. Or invest in sone plastic rod/tube/card and DIY to your hearts content. Or strip warjack mini's for their parts. Or grab a scrap lot of Necrons from ebay and recycle.

FW really ought to do a Bionics set, like a larger version of their character set. The Iron Hands set is awesome, but in metal.

The commander arm with chainsword is ok, but where it really excels is using it on guard models, like sergeants with chainswords. The base shoulder is the right size to look like a guard shoulderpad, and there a chainsword is less out of place.

honestly Iron Hand set is the best way to go, try Bitz Barn, you can probably get them for cheap there.
