Hi One and all, After viewing http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?332976-What-would-be-the-best-40k-army-for-Wood-Elf-Dryad-models it got me thinking that whilst I love 40k I adore my Lizardmen WHFB models. So what would be an acceptable Codex to use, the closest I could possibly think of is Codex: Orks for the comparisions/ crossovers that I`d think would work which I`ll put below:-
WHFB 40K comparison

Saurus Warriors = Ork boys
Skinks = Gretchin
Chameleon Skinks = Commandos
Terradons = Deff Koptas
Temple Guard = Nobz( altough not 100% sure if fits)
Cold One Cavalry = Warbikers
Kroxigors = Mega Nobz
Stegadon = Battle wagon
Salamanders/ Razordons = Big Gunz
Skink Priest = Ork Weirdboy
Saurus Oldblood = Ork Warboss

So what do people think does this fit?? Is there a Codex that maybe fits better?? Do people have any better suggestions for crossover comparisons??

Sounds cool, but how would you model the guns?

The Kroot Codex from Kompletely Kroot works perfectly. I think i've seen Lizardmen used as Kroot before but i cannot find out where.

My only issue would be Chameleon Skinks as Orks, you've got Skinks as grotz and Saurus (or bigger) as Orks,it seems a wee bit wonky to then have Skinks as Orks in that one category. But that's my only (very slight and incredibly pedantic) reservation.

@Noobie. Kroot Codex ain't official enough to satisfy some people, otherwise it's a good call.
