View Full Version : Heldrake model problem, base insert off center?

So I am just about finished putting my heldrake together and I am putting it on the base when I notice that it is at a slight angel. I look at the hole stamped underneath the model and see that the hole is stamped off center. Was this intentional? If it was then okay I guess. If not then I am rather unpleased. This was a very expensive model and while I have the ability to fix such an error I shouldn't have to. I have no doubt that GW will make this right if there is indeed an error but I wanted to make sure that it was actually an error before I called up. I have attached a picture in case it is unclear what the error is. Oherwise really liking the model so far :)

I am sure that was whit intend
So that he looks more dynamic on the stand

Cause those things are on the mold and no way something that large could shift

It's not because the Drake is modelled sort of flying round a corner, is it?

I had that thought as well and just wanted to make sure. Well I will just have to make it more level myself then. I don't like the way it is angled. I will finish getting the rest of the wings attached too, maybe that will make it look better. Thanks for the quick responses guys!
