What do you think is the most likely: 0 shots, 1 shot per model, or infinite shots?

I was thinking either one shot or infinite shots... any answer?

T10 was just encouraging you to think the answer out logically. To cut to the chase so you can get back to reading your rules, the answer is one shot per salamander model in the unit, so if its three salamanders in the unit it shoots three times one blast from each lizard's mouth.

Edit: crap as t10 has again explained, I meant one shot per salamander per round. They can keep shooting every turn, god I am too tired to be answering these things I see now

Infinite shots per game, one per round. It is /not/ a Breath Weapon, so the Breath Weapon limit of one shot per game does not apply, and no other limit is specified.

thank you i was thinking it might have been a breath weapon

I get that question every game (from the same guys too). Is that a breath weapon? No, it's not a breath weapon, they gout flames :/

call it a template artillery weapon on legs :)

There are lots of things like this in warhammer. There basically flamethrowers. Flamethrowers have rules in the rule book.

I guess part of the clue is in the way the flame template is used just like a flamethrower.
A reasonable question in the first place in that you might think it is very similar to a dragon's breath weapon.
