Howdy, I'm writing this for anyone interested in running their own City Fight/Cities of Death campaigns. The system available trough the following link was developed for the original City Fight rules & works well.

http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/cityfight/gaming/studio-campaign/default.htm

For Cities of Death there has to be some changes.

Advanced Rules

I. Each dot added to a location adds a stratagem that the defender can use. Each player always has a minimum of one stratagem and can have a maximum of three. All locations on the map can be assumed to have at least one dot.

IV. Assassins can only be used by Daemon & Witch Hunters and their allies if an Inquisitor Lord is present also.

VII. Use the allies table from the doubles tournament rules pack. Necrons can choose to ally themselves with anyone except Eldar/Dark Eldar, Chaos, Lost & the Dammed & Tyranids. They count all others as distrusted allies in doubles games.

Locations

Genatorium
When moving non-vehicle units over open ground or difficult terrain (not buildings) roll a D6. If a 1 is rolled a steam vent has erupted near by & the unit takes D6 Strength 4 hits with armor & cover saves taken as normal. If a unit remains stationary in its movement phase it doesn't need to test as it is assumed to be concentrating on avoiding the eruptions. Units that take 25% casualties take a moral check as if from shooting.

Gibbet Hill
The controlling player gets to use the Preliminary Bombardment Stratagem in one of the games he/she's playing that campaign turn for free (it doesn't cost a Stratagem Point to use). The player should make it clear to the Campaign Organizer which game he/she'll be using it in each campaign turn.

Gun Towers
Instead of sentry guns each tower has the Ammunition Store Stratagem played on it & effects both players units as long as there is no enemy units inside the tower.

Sniperís Alley
No longer uses a Vindicare Assassin.
The defending player receives the Master Snipers Stratagem for free (it doesn't cost a Stratagem Point to use).

Spaceport Complex
The controlling player gets to use the Deep Strike Stratagem in one of the games he/she's playing that campaign turn for free (it doesn't cost a Stratagem Point to use). The player should make it clear to the Campaign Organizer which game he/she'll be using it in each campaign turn.

Vogen Law Courts
The player always has a minimum of 1 Stratagem.

Water Purification Plant
The controlling player gets to use the Sewer Rats Stratagem in one of the games he/she's playing that campaign turn for free (it doesn't cost a Stratagem Point to use). The player should make it clear to the Campaign Organizer which game he/she'll be using it in each campaign turn.

So these are the changes that I think will allow for a fun and easy to use campaign to be run using the rules from Cities of Death. If you have any suggestions after reviewing these rules and changes please post your input.

Just to let people whom don't have the time/patience to follow the link, it leads to a section of the GW US site that contains the rules and a map for playing a City Fight map based campaign set in Vogen. The modifications to the rules are what I've worked out to allow the campaign to be run using Cities of Death.

This can be used to represent any city including hives set on Medusa V.

One note on the above rules:

For a player to gain benefits from an area that states that the "occupying player" receives them, he/she must start the campaign turn with a pin in that territory unopposed.
