I'm going to buy some soon, but they are not released here yet. Thought I'd do the planning but I need to know the basic dimensions...

About 4.5 cm wide and 8 cm tall AFAIK.

IIRC, the distance between floors/levels is suppose to be 3 inches as well.

Thanks. The detailing looks suberb, both design and execution, but they are just too flimsy for me. With some home made heavy looking stone walls between the panels, I hope to rectify this...

Flimsy? Buddy, a one-building box with 3 sprues in it weighs about a pound. The floors are almost a centimetre thick.

Yeah, they are the thickest GW sprues I've ever seen - clearly they're expecting a lot of 'whoops, just knocked my building off the table' moments.

That sounds great and all but my walls need to be at least an inch thick for that medieval feel. But I don't intend to build a city fight table, just a big old ruin for my ordinary one...

Honestlt, I thought I was going to do the sandwich thing too until I got the sprues. They are very thick, about 1/4 including the details. Also, sandwiching would be very difficult given the detail non the inner portions, there are a lot of bits sticking up from the main wall. I'd recomend just trying one out wuithout the foamcore walls with blue tac before you decide to sandwich.
