Hi, can anyone point in the right direction to working the 40k time out?

Im writing a campaign and need to know these things.. A long time ago there used to be a small program that worked it out. However since then I can't find it. Does anyone have a link to the program? I have tried Google or whatever but know avail (apparently I can buy it with 15% off on ebay..)''

The way they write years? 345.M12 or something like that? Or the even more complex one with hours and so on? I remember seeing that in a book, but I can't remember which one it is. Should be fairly easy to calculate in your head though.

its realated to the day of the year, time during that day, the position of the time-ing [ie where you are located] and how accurate you think it is [based on the strength of the signal from earth]
