Basically I want to get into BB and would like to know what the best way to learn is.

Also would like to do an orc team as i have alot of bits left over from my ork army and should have enough to build a team.

I'm in a similiar boat myself (even down to the same choice of team)

from what I've been told the best way to learn is playing a few 'one-off' games to get the hang of it but I'm sure one of numerous BB vets here will point us in the right direction

Also help with a starting team would be cool.

I just jumped right into a league with some very experienced players. Somehow i managed to get to the final of the playoffs ending in a 6 hour game of dungeon bowl where i killed my mates most experienced witch elf.

I started with goblins, then moved to dwarfs, then back to gobbos, now im on Vampires.

You pick it up pretty fast. Esepecially around experienced guys. I was lucky enough to have one of them as a really close mate anyway and he taught me some tactics and plays to use.

Hiya guys.
I'd suggest obviously getting hold of the rules first. You can find it free online (I'm rubbish at linkies)
I'd also suggest joining up at FUMBBL. It allows you to play BB online against other opponents. There's even an academy for beginners.

Like the new human models, so i think i'll go for them to start with. They also look like one of the best teams to start with.

Also read through the rulebook, should be easy enough to learn.
