Hey,
I went to the Call to Arms tournament at the weekend, taking part in the Epic tourny - it was a great event, I certainly had a great time, and there was a great atmosphere too.
I went with the aim of NOT losing every game and finishing last (like I did at my first Epic tournament! :D ) and I'm glad to say I succeeded in that :p , and I was also astounded and gobsmacked when my Imperial Guard army was one of the three short-listed for the Best Army painting award, which was eventually (and most deservedly) won by an outstanding, imacculately painted Eldar army.
Sadly, this Call to Arms was to be the last, but it seems that players of WFB and 40k will most likely look-forward to seeing Epic, BFG, Warmaster & Mordheim being run alongside/as part of Tournaments & Campaing weekends.
You never now, we might get a few of you to start playing GW's OTHER (and some might say better ;) ) games!
