Hello;

I wanted to bring to your attention an ever-increasing army of strange accounts on this site, all of which start with "cc". They don't seem to do anything... they're just there. Still I wouldn't rule out any malicious intent, since the chances they're human are comparatively small I'd think. Maybe a security issue?

They don't seem to show up on the list of members, either.

That's unprecedented. But if you click them directly it seems they've been created recently, this summer.

Thank you for letting us know. We really do appreciate people's eagle eye.

What it is, we had a spate of spam joiners recently. Those accounts are not active and are still in the unverified member process. So they can't do anything on the site such as post. These accounts will get deleted in due course and then won't show as members any more as their info is deleted along with their membership joining info.

Please do keep us posted if you notice anything odd as you have done. It's appreciated.
