Password reset fail?

So I forgotted my password. And tried to use the password reset function. And entered my registered email address. And got nothing. Despite repeated tries and checking my mailbox filter for anything being dropped as spam or what-have-you.

I'd almost given up ever coming back, but decided to have one last attempt with various obscure passwords and guessed my one.
