Amazing.

I'll probably buy a few just to support Epic personally.

I’ve got my Epic Chaos already planned.

Just checked. Doesn't look like it.

damn

when are they going to get those pdf's up?

im itching to convert up a bunch of old plastic land raders to chaos but i want to work out my army list before i do.

do you think it will be that much different from the experimental rules list that is up now?

Chaos & Evil probably has the best insight there.

As far as I know, the Black Legion list up there is very close to the final one. One change I know of is that Daemons that leave the table at the end of the turn go back to the daemon pool, rather than go out of play.

Iíve worked my army out on the basis that there will not be any major changes.

'Soon'.

I don't expect too many changes though. (No points revisions anyway).

i see thanks

do you have any suggestions for a good 3000 point force?

i have a banelord and a bunch of plastic landraiders and rhinos.
i plan on picking up 2 of the rereleased infantry boxed sets.

i also have like 12 frames of the very old chaos sprues, the one that comes with trolls and minatours on it. the cool thing about these sprues is that i can make a chaos bike group out of the slanesh rideing beast modells.
it also has cool troops that would look good as tzeentch or nurgle marines

old chaos squat works well as nurgle marines, and slaneesh riders or juggernauts makes great "count as" models for bikes. Trolls, minotaurs and beastmen are handy mutants and giant mutants for the LATD list (official too now :) )

Definately buying some of those! My first Epic buy, but is it just me or are those really cheap?
Also, could someone please just run through (in order), which each of those models represent - some of them I'm not sure about... Thanks

Thanks - wasn't sure cause some of the pics weren't that clear. I've now asked for some to be ordered (only one mind you - I haven't learnt to play Epic fully yet, so only a small amount is need [for the moment :D])

Nagash, I know you're only starting but you could really do with more than one box of Chaos. It's a funny one because it's basically troops for two army lists. Two will give you a much more useable force.

I'm going to get three but you don't need that many.

Epic plastic sets are often fantastic value... giving you over 200 models in a single 12 quid boxed set!

I have to agree, looks quite tasty for the price (as do the other Epic basic sets of course). Might get me started on the game properly :)

Cheers - as you can tell, I'm not that great at knowing the rules yet though. Thanks

I will probably end up picking two or three. We decided with a friend to swap demons as he'll be collecting slaanesh and nurgle, while I concentrate on khorne and tzeentch.

I was going to do two and then fill out the rest of my army with normal Marines but I worked out that three should just be enough to do 3000 points with pure Chaos Marines. I'll use the spare Assault Marines I already have as Raptors.

I'm going to use the normal marines there, just bulk the army out. Gets rid of several single marines as well :D.

I find it interesting that Beastmen are still in the army, and that some of the Daemon models are based on older versions, such as the Daemonettes...

This would be because it's a re-release of the old Epic 40K Chaos set :)

I might pick a few up, but currently I'm just using normal marines as my Iron Warriors army, as IMO IW are less mutated/silly hairstyles than other chaos. The only trouble is hazzard striping all those bolters and boltpistols/chainswords :)
