Tau Barracuda Ion cannon question..

I figured out the Barracuda Fighter Ion Cannon does damage at 4+.

So why is it doing by 3+ in case of the Tiger Shark while having same profile in all other matters?
Even the mighty Manta whichs Ion Cannons are 6 times the amount of the Barracuda has 3+ to do damage.

So the difference between the 4 or 3+ seems obviously not to come from the amount of Ion Cannons built in the aircraft (but number of dice to hit is). Is it a typo maybe?

I think in the case of the Tigershark the hits from the 2 Ion Cannon are converging onto the target. With the Manta you have 3 pairs of Ion Cannon so you get more shots at the higher damage.

'cudas only have one so they arn't, while the TS and manta have 2 and 6 respectivley, or 1 and 3 pairs.
