Just got another gross (or so) of models from ebay... But i have no idea of what this mini is. Sorry, necromancy is my lore, the living ones don't please that much :)
Many thanks.

To state the obvious, pictures would help a lot.

I need to strip the paint off the model, I know!. I'll give a look to some M, P & T threads later on.
P.S. The horse came as well... But the paint job was still worse. You don't wanna see it

Gentlemen...you all were warned.
Here's the proof

P.S. I'm getting "a few" more minis from ebay this week. Is this the right forum to ask you to identify them or should I go to any other section?

Many thanks

Well its not that bad.....honest

I especially love the cunning way in which there appears to be no undercoat on the model and the hooves were "painted" by "not painting" them

before making judgements you should know how old the seller was.
It' not that bad...just a bit rushed

Didn't we all do that with swords and armour when we started? ... or was that just me? :D

What edition of warhammer is it??? It looks quite old and 'cartoony' (not realistic) just like some of the old figures.

Kislevites came out in 6th edition sadly. I don't THINK their models are made before that.

Kislevites have had models since 4th - they were a part of the main Empire list.

It might be the paint job of the horse which makes it look cartoony!!!
Have they made kislev their own army yet or going to, or are they still tagging along with empire???

DarkLord Of Naggaroth

they're sort of a sub army
you probably wouldn't play kislev and Empire in the same army, but you could if you wanted.

Think they had a list in a WD a few years ago together with the Frost Lore. Before that they were part of the Imperial Army, together with Ogres and Halflings. They don't have any official army book other then that. Also pretty limited on models, mostly old ones from back when they were a part of the Empire Book. (Mostly from the 5th edition).

I thorght they should be in DOW instead of empire, and empire or brets hire them!!! Just my idea!!!

but they are more than a mercenary group up for hire, they are an army.
good idea but at the same time not.

The problem with a Kislevite army is that (sticknig to the fluff) they should be an entirely mounted fast cavalry army. Unfortnately in gaming terms this just wouldn't work very well :( Nice for an additional force for an Empire army, but I can't see them doing very well on their own.

so they're a bit like icy Rohan. except they did work well in battle ;)

The only new Kislevites in 6th edition were the Gryphon Legion, infantry, some Horse Archers, and the Tzar on his bear.
The other Kislevite models (such as the horse archer standard bearer) have been around since early 4th edition (mid-nineties if I remember correctly). ;)

There have been discussions on what should be the next army released. Well kislev make a good option. They are a small army but they have alot of good options open. Back to my idea before, well if they were their own army, you can hire them like you can do with ogres.

Brets can never hire DoW.
