I have been looking of ver the fluff threads in the Fantasy discussion n rumours threads and I have been thinking, with theabilities of inter planetary chaos, infinit cults, imperial corruption, and all the technology, does chaos have a wider range of corruption or are they stuck with the old ways.

I think your problem here is that you're perhaps trying to measure Chaos. Chaos is fundamentally fuelled by nightmares, and so can basically be whatever it wants. If some Chaos Space Marine bloke develops Maggots for blood, I wouldn't raise an eyebrow. Likewise, if someone morphs into a 30 feet wide floating ball of air with flaking tendrils and the face of a baby, well, them's the breaks. It's a tough dimension ya know.
