Well on some forum I heard about the Necron Abattoire. SO what is it and can you get it on order or something? I'm very sorry if there's already another forum that's exactly like this.

There is no Necron minis available for Epic at all - although the old Chaos Androids look very much like Necron Warriors!

Many peeps have converted and scratch-built their entire Necron armies!

That's an Abbatoir on the left.

They are "counts as" monoliths and obelisks. That bigger one on the ground is most likely tomb complex (not completely sure though). Originally though they are BFG Necron ships.

The bigger tentacle thing is an abattoire!:)

It's been scratchbuilt from Bases :). See thread below if for it's construction.

And the AEonic Orb (the other big thing in the Necron list)

Yeah I know that but they're funny square bases anyway.

Plus some giant 40K models have square bases too.

They look sweet. Have you tried emailing those to Jervis? (For what good it will do you...)

So r they ur epic army? I suppose they are right?

Moscovian

Yes. They are a all mine (insert sinister laugh here while rubbing my mittens together). The Warriors are old Chaos Androids with DRM Andrayadas used as Lords. The Destroyers are Warp Spiders or DRM Andrayadas and 40K scarabs. The Monolith, Obelisk, and Pylons were cast by a guy named Pipboy that I just added the bitz to. I don't think he's making any more of them so I got lucky on that trade. The Abattoir and Orb are scratchbuilt and the Orb actually contains a battery powered light that illuminates the glass. Flayed Ones are not done yet but they've been kitbusted from Warmaster parts, as were the C'tan. The Warbarque is almost entirely scratchbuilt (save for the gun on top which was just a Spyder bit plus green rods). Immortals were made from DRM Andrayadas once again. TheTomb Spyders were 40K Scarabs with claws made from Ork Dreadnaughts.

I have long since given up on Jervis and GW, although I love the game of Epic still. Jervis has been pulled in a direction away from Epic and, while his interest would be flattering, it isn't something I need personally. Besides, there is nothing fantastic about the army itself - this was my first time ever scratch building an army. If I can do it, anyone can. And to prove it, I am actually working on modeling notes that will be in a fan written Epic Supplement. Those notes will cover how to build Necrons and Dark Eldar on an Epic scale. We're planning on a publication date of October 2007. I'll post links to it here when it is completed.

Thanks for the interest!

The modeling guide is coming along slowly. It will not be done this month but we're hoping for November or December to get everything accomplished (the fiction, the revised army lists, the modeling section, etc.). Sorry for the delay.

That's alright. Don't worry about it.
