Poll for Necron Warriors purchasing here (http://www.tacticalwargames.net/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=10;t=10005;).

Would you buy Epic Necron Warriors from Specialist Games if they made them available? Consider the price of $10 for 30 models (6 stands).

I think i would buy them just because i love those silent mechanical killers

Yes. Certainly would.

Depends to an extent on what other vehicles they come up with to pad them out at Epic scale, but in principle - hell yeah!

Yeah me too - i've just started a 40K Necron army and an Epic scale one would compliment it nicely. Also as Crube noted Vehicles and such would be a definate factor, but Epic's always been a great way to flesh out and add more definition to 40k forces/races so i've no doubt there'll be something spectacular

Me too!
Would be good to see them flesh out the race and this would be the perfect opportunity!

Deffinately. I was annoyed that they released loads of brand spanking new models for IG when they made the barran siege masters army when they could have used the resources to makes some chaos or necron models.

I don't think anybody was screaming out for converted farm machinery to use in their games so I'm not sure why they did it.

Note that I don't play chaos but it would have been better for the game to have another army fleshed out rather than increase the number of imperial vehicle variants /YAWN!

What is epic scale, exactly? Is that the kind where they are all small with square bases that fit into those squad holder things?

Epic scale miniatures are 5 times smaller than 40k miniatures.

They're used in a game called (Unsurprisingly) Epic, which is very strategic tabletop wargame.

Thanks for the depressing read Hena.:cries:

I just wonder if we'll ever see proper support for specialist games?:cries:

Looks like Forge World is our last best hope.

Yes. Yes. Y-E-S.

I can see it now. A vast blanket of Necrons covering the hills with dozens of mini monoliths interspersed throughout.
