It's a special edition, limited "Brough (?) Slavelord" special character Ogre that was given to some members of the GW staff as a gift. :)

I don't think it's around on the net yet. It's really, REALLY rare. My friend claims he has seen one that has been sold on ebay for 2 800! The first time it was listed on ebay the auction was mysteriosly cancelled.

It doesn't exactly look like good model... At first I thought that it wasn't Warhammer at all...

I agree but it's rare so people want it

this came up on the old portent - apparently GW have given this model to managers only with numbered certificates - so if any appear on ebay GW wont be best pleased

but lets face it - if i got that as a present i wouldnt be too grateful, its well rubbish. thye are just asking to be sold to some collector

It is indeed the Manager Only "Braugh Slavelord" model. Although I haven't seen it painted, it was in action in some GW stores as part of some roadshow "return of the slavelord" (which was mentioned a couple of WDs ago).

However, anyone who remembers me from the old Portent, will know that i own this model (complete with certificate, and his 12 freshly converted slaves, which he must be played with a minimum of).

I will say that although it is a real collectors piece (hence the reason i went to the lengths i did to own one) it is not a great model, sculpted by mark bedford (he of the ropey 54mm Chaos Kight of two years back).

I will try and get mine painted up and a picture put on here asap.

The rules are avergae - he's over-pointed, but the conversion opportunites are availiable, and it is a nice base. My mate brought his off my store's manager for 40. Sucker.

What are the rules like? I can't see how you would game with him because he comes with a scenic base?

If anyones intrested there is a painted version on eBay here (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=44127&item=5188108043&rd=1) Although it's badly painted and someone has (sort of) converted it.

I have simply mounted mine on a chariot base, the same as skrag & greasus.

I believe that i am not allowed to post the stat line, but i can tell you that he costs 445 points (including 12 slaves) extra slaves can be purchased at 2 points each. His special rules are......

Soul Binder Chains, Stubborn, Cause Fear, Slavelord, & The Great Bullplate.

I hope to have pics of mine painted up within the next week or so (although with the amount of projects i have on the go at the minute it could be longer!!!)

WTF?!
why'd anyone buy, paint badly, and then sell an army ?
weird..

those rules seem cool though :)

Yes, but it's a scenic base that fits onto a chariot base, just like the other two ogre special characters.
