Byzantine Dismounted Bucellarri (Finally!) Complete!
I'm pleased to say that I have eventually finished the first complete unit for my Early Byzantines!
I've added in a couple of extra characters like the officer with his hand in the air, commanding the archers to loose and the Flamoularioi officer to 'dress the ranks'.

Those look absolutely gorgeous! Always had a soft spot for Byzantines!

They have always been one of my favourite armies too. I used to have a speed painted Gripping Beast Eastern Roman army (it was for a WAB Campaign Weekend) but the new Aventine mini's that are popping out of the moulds are just superb.
Can't recommend them enough.

Thank you. I'm glad you noticed the extra details as I thought they might get lost in all those spears and the archers.
