Great colours on the chaos warband. I like the skin tone on the nurgle guy and the snake tounge guys tounge. Im sure they have proper names like Colin or Brian but I dont know them.
Haha, yes probably Colin!
Anyway, thanks for looking, and hey.. I got something for you!
First i tried a new look on a high elf banner with a dragon. And then I tried some new colors and made a cool looking slaanesh banner. :-) I'm selling these, so if you are interested just send me a message!

I have to say that this is making me want to paint more and learn how to do that for myself. I like what I have seen here. How long did it take for you to be comfortable in painting freehand banners.
Thank you! Well, I have been painting or drawing, or been creative all my life. So I have no special date that I felt comfortable. It's more an akin curiosity for how far I can go. And how much I can learn and get better. :-) have you seen my tutorial earlier in this thread or on my Facebook page, Jonas Wideen Miniatures? I tried to nail down how I do it. But then again, I evolve all the time too, as everyone else. My tip is to just go for it and do it as much as possible!
Cheers /Jonas

Well. I am getting alot of comission work from all over the world at the moment! And I'm very very happy about that. Because it makes me able to make people happy, and make myself happy, and also I get to paint what I love the most!
But I forget to paint for myself! I have a whole marine army and also warriors of chaos plus a wood elf army to build and paint. I'm going to collect am Eldar army too and possibly another orcs and goblins army. But then I need to take some time to actually paint for myself too!
Here is a sketch for a banner design for a company standard for my Astra Vipera.
What do you think? Oh I just remembered that I need to put the company number on it. Attachment 219339
And here is a wip of a banner I'm painting for Star Phantoms! It's really big, but supposed to be a chapter banner. Attachment 219340
Oh and here is the finished War Griffons banner! Reaver Titan banner. Comission too. Hope you like it! It was made after a old banner design, Slightly changed. Attachment 219342
And also, I have started to paint the board game Forbidden Stars for a customer. Nothing special, just splash paint on them. This is the Eldar force and there is orks, space Marines and chaos Marines plus buildings left. Alot of miniatures in that box! Attachment 219343
Anyway. I will try and be better att writing in here and keep this place as a kind of blog.
In the future you will be able to see quite alot of action in here. I will be painting for myself, for people who reach out to me to paint freehand for them and also I have started to work for Siege Studios too. The future is bright, slightly grim/dark, and fun!
Stay tuned for more. If you want to you can see more progress at Jonas Wideen Miniatures on Facebook.
And if you want to order a banner to be painted by me, just send me a pm!
Cheers/Kaos

Those banners are amazing.
Forbidden Stars is a lot of fun. I've felt the urge to paint my friend's set for him, just to get a good look for the "Helbrute Bowling Team" I've been having good results with. :)
