Just spotted this. "Captain Geoffrey Wayne is that the chances of anything coming from mars are "a million to one" . . ." You are really showing your age here. Great album I still have a copy.

    Zemlod,

Glad you finished another figure. Keep up the battle with the army of unpainted.

    Cheers,

Re: Imperial Guard - An Edifying Pictorial of Progress

I can't believe it's been another year already since the last post . . .

And what a strange year this is turning out to be....

Well, I went back to the office today to find my Killteam patiently waiting for me, so I took them out of their case for a picture:

And the plan for the next additions is to look something like this:

I've gotten hardly any painting done this year, but I'll try to take some pics of what's happened when I get back home.

Those look lovely! I am trying to imagine my office holding similar projects in it - chance would be a fine thing!

I went looking for my one, but couldn't find it anywhere. Decided to go ahead and buy it again. Turns out, you need to watch out for silly remakes though.

Couldn't stand to listen to the "updated" dubsteppy music, but apparently it's about some Martians having taken his daughter or something...

I really like the scion - the model chestplate fits nicely with the aesthetic of the rest of the army

Re: Imperial Guard - An Edifying Pictorial of Progress

In what my be my most underwhelming update yet:

    1 trooper (lasgun):

I noticed, I didn't paint any Praetorian Troops in the past couple of years, so I started on a squad right away.
My old recipe made use of a couple of old paints, some of which have since dried up on me. So I went and tried to match some new paints and in the process simplify the amount of stages. I think he turned out similarly enough so I'll be using the new "recipe".
The rest of his mates are still wip:

Classic models! I like that you are sticking to the original colour scheme.

Sublime work on the kill team!

I think everyone loves Praetorians and you’ve brought them to life.

    Thank you!

Here's a tiny update just to prove I'm not dead yet:

I'll try and take pics of the rest I've done this year so far in the next days...

Another model painted, is one more win against the pile of the unpainted.
