Revs Specialist games log

Hey guys

The amount of SG stuff I'm playing atm is mounting up, so I thought I'd break out and start a dedicated log. I also had to reorganise my photobucket account, as I was starting to get too many pictures and needed to put them into subfolders.

First up are the Dark elf Bloodbowl team which I snapped last week.

What would people like to see next - more BB, AI or BFG?

Nice idea, Rev. It's true that the specialist games minis were starting to take over your other log! Not that this is a bad thing, of course...

Dark Elves are looking good. As for what we'd like to see - I'd love to see some BFG. It would give me the motivation I need to assemble some of the fleet I have, and get painting. I plan on using magnets, so I can swap out weapons, etc., so any advice about what magnet size to use that you (or anybody else!) might have would be greatly appreciated.

And, of course, I demand that you start playing either Mordheim or Necromunda, as your painting skills would shine even more on the ten or twelve models that make up a warband or gang!

Funnily enough, I've got an Escher gang converted and awaiting some brush strokes, I'm just trying to obtain a heavy plasma gunner before I start.

Haha, I've got some Mordhiem form YEARS ago - painted not quite in the same style...

Here are the Orcs - these guys a brutal. The number 2 Black orc scored twice in the last game passing twice to pick the ball up despite his low AG value. Legend!

4 black orcs really does make a menacing LOS.

Those Black Orcs are great, Rev - and I do love them in the game as well! Very, very nice painting too. I love the weathering and chipping on the armour.

So, you have some Mordheim from a few years ago, you say? It might be worth stripping them and repainting them, just to keep the Specialist Games log fans happy! If you have the time, that is.

I think this is one of the very, very few Deneral Project logs which get loads and loads of posts in a short space of time, the stuff here is excellent, as I've said on your other log, Sir Revviness of aesome and epic painting skills!

you're right, that Witch Elf does remind me of Tina Turner. Put a white lock in her hair and you've got yourself Thunderdome all over again. The orcs are really nice, they've got a great dynamic look.
