"A complete Lizardmen army with the mark of the old ones, what could be cooler then that?"

With this in mind, I started to look for a color scheme that resembled this idea.

I knew that I had to paint more then 40 skinks (to start with). So I wanted to use a simple technique that gave a descent result.

This is the first skink I finished in the color scheme that would form the basis of my army.







And with this skink the real work began...
