    Photo enhancing project

    Hi,
because of my mediocre painting skills and my interest in photo enhancing, I've recently been working on some forgeworld-style artistic photography, and I thought I'd share some of my finished images with you. (Please note that not all of these models have been painted by me, I've been borrowing from friends and the local GW store).
Am I going in the right direction? Any comments or feedback would be most welcome.

I love 'em; I'd like to do photos like that for an armylist one day. Any tips, how-to's you can share?

The two BB and Orkcopter shots are the best and come closest to the GW/FW imagery.
Nevertheless, all the others are great too

Very nice. The snow effect is my favorite, but they all look good enough for codex or catalog. Keep up the good work!

Excellent work, the Ork Warboss at the end is the only one that just looks like a regular miniature photo.

They have a more subtle effect than some of Forgeworlds pictures, but some more practice and tweaks you'll be there in no time.

Actually (okay, okay I know it's *real world*) drivers are trained to pause briefly at the crest of a hill to ensure they can negotiate the reverse slope.

That frozen picture works very well for people who understand how the military is (as opposed to how 40K is).
