    Irra's Chaotic vampire counts project

    Good evening

I have decides to start this thread to post the advances in my vampire counts army. The background is clear, in life they were a chaos army, but the chaos lord was seducted by a vamp. After that, all his people was atracted to the un-living. The base idea is:

    - Skeletons would be converted skeletons soy they look like the skeletons of chaos marauders
    - Grave guards and black knights would be undead chaos warriors and knights

    Thas is the starting point.
I have already advanced and posted the army in my group forum, so at the begining I would be posting a lot (I hope )

First lets start with some skeletons:

At the begining some of them didn´t have horned helms but I decided to put it on all of them so I changed the heads after taking pictures...

(continue in next post due the image limits...)

    Looks great!

That spartan one looks like he would be falling over ALL the time... you must have it weighed down pretty good.

Awesome idea, and you've pulled it off wonderfully. Can't wait to see what the Warriors would be like.

Re: Irra's Chaotic vampire counts project

    Hi again

After the skeletons let´s go to the dire wolves. Originally I was going to use the new GW ones, I even painted one as color test, here you have my first idea:

But I thought that I wanted something more converted (I’m a conversion guy, so I wanted some extra work, I hate only painting) so I started to think about some huge werewolves (it looked awesome in my mind) after some thinking I definitely decided to use the bodies, arms and legs of the plastic rat ogre blister and the heads from the goblin wolf riders blister. I decided to have them in 50x50mm bases (counts as two wolves) and 25x50mm base count as 1 wolf)

    Let´s see the process:

First wolf (base of 50x50 mm)
    - First a resin clone (just in case it gets wrong) and an imperial guy that would be used too (let’s call him “Poor Otto” )

    - Now the complete scene unpainted but after all the green stuff

    (TO BE CONTINUED)

Re: Irra's Chaotic vampire counts project

Second wolf (base of 25x50 mm)
    - First the resin clone and the imperial friend (let´s call him “Unlucky Fritz”)

    - Now the complete scene with all the green stuff

Third wolf (base of 50x50 mm)
    - First the resin clone and the imperial friend (let´s call him “Brave Hans”)

    - Now the complete scene with all the green stuff

Next I will post them totally finished.
    Cheers

Hard to explain it in english (I got all the information from Spanish websites) but I found a Spanish guy that is also maintaining and English blog, you can find it in:

    http://ultrawerke.blogspot.com/2007/...al-part-i.html

The company that sells the products in Spain is called "Feroca" you can search their website in google, but I think that you would probably have a local company with similar products.

    I hope it helps you...

    cheers

That's a lot of work for something that dies so easily

The one tearing the guy apart is extremely good (for a rough anyway).

Nice idea and great conversions. I really like the werewolves, although I have to complain about the way you treat upright Empire citizens for this vulgar display of strength, don't you know that's what Bretonnians are for?

Thanks for the link by the way, might come in handy one day.

    Keep it up!
