Field research Post this time.
Note on Building: I took some advice this time and used an X-Acto blade to score the lines on the light stand's central post.
It makes it a lot easier to fold the lines that are close together.
The base of the stand is made large enough to fit two US pennies in it for weight.

Next project: Machinery for Evil Henchmen to run.
Every secret underground lair needs these things.

Evil Underground Moon and/or Lava Base.
Something to keep your henchmen busy.

Warning: I have not built these yet, so there could be fitting problems.
Let me know if there are problems with building them or fiting on the printed paper.
Update: I converted them to a PDF as I was having scaling problems with my printer.
I Also reduced all the images about 25%.

Evil Lair Sheet 1: Display table and two wall mounted displays.
Evil Lair Sheet 2: Giant wall display to view world in terror and two power meters.
Evil Lair Sheet 3: Three miscellaneous evil equipment panels.
Evil Lair Sheet 4: Also three miscellaneous evil equipment panels.
You just can't have enough evil equipment.
Now if you weren't surrounded by ******** idiots your plan just might work this time!

This is my next project. Two large buildings that I think would work in modern, SciFi or steam punk.
They're not quite ready yet and I don't want to upload them, then and have to take them back down again like the Evil Lair stuff.
I need a little feed back.
Are they OK the way they are or should I add a couple of extensions coming off of them, like a small room coming out the side of the building?

Yes, in fact I should go back and increase the size of all the doors.
I think I'll also add a few optional air conditioners and roof vents as well as a small room add on.
Maybe a small porch like awning?

I'm having a lot of problems with wrong scaling with my .png and .pdf files.
I though I had solved the problem when I went to PDF, but I found out today that they are scaling my print down.
My prints are a lot smaller than 8.5 x 11, but it still reduces them?
I'm not sure if my Zilla .png to .pdf converter is doing it or my HP printer and scaling is off.
I can get the .png files to print correctly if I print them directly from the Gimp program, so I think it may be my converter?

I'm pulling my hair out, so I think I'll take a break for a few days.

www.primopdf.com has a free pdf creator that works well with MS office stuff, installing primo creates a new printer that you select instead on your physical printer, it then creates a PDF file.

All of my pdf plans come from this and MS Word and I havent had any resizing issues.

Worth a shot?

I switch over to primopdf. I found that it scales the image up to fit a 11 x 8.5 paper, but I came up with a way to stop it from scaling.
I went back and modified my images back ground as 11 x 8.5 inches.
This way the PDF program could not enlarge them any more.
Unfortunately the program loses some of the detail during the conversion.
I guess I'll have to live with that. At least it is better than jpg files.

Here is the new stuff. It is not perfect, but it should do the job.
I wanted my buildings to be fast and simple to build.
I hope you like them.

I have been working on this building for over a month.
It is a bit different than the other ones. It is meant to be modular.
There are about 9 different panels at this time.
You can build it as a basic square, but you can also build it, with a little modified cutting to be longer, wider, taller or even as a split level.
I Also included a modular set of stairs, which by coincidences look just like the stairs DagobahDave is working on.
I almost didn't include them because of this.
As a child I had a set of wooden blocks that had stairs like this and it seemed like an easy way to make them with paper.
My next building is a Quonset hut just in case Dave is also working on one.:confused:

Construction:
1) I would recommend gluing the walls together first.
2) Install roof.
3)Add building stiffener.
4)Add bottom of building.
