there lovely. Is there any chance of a guide to say how you built up the white? Im interested for some work of my own and your white is alot cleaner and nicer than mine?

Throne of Skulls 2008 Heat 2 - 142nd! (things can only get better!)
i do the white by giving the mini's 2 undercoats of skull white spray, i then re-undercoat all the areas that ain't going to be white chaos black.
i always do the white last, all i do is line it with shadow grey and then neaten up any mistakes using fortress grey. once this is done i use watered down skull white probably 2 parts water to 1 part paint and paint on as many layers as it takes to cover the grey up.

- So you paint on the sprues, then glue and touch up? Or do you use tape?

sorry mate, the minis are all glued together before i undercoat apart from the arms which i leave off throughout the painting process.
this pic should give you an idea of what i mean
if your wondering what the metal rods are, they're just paper clips that i remove after i'm finished.

OOH! you have to tell me how you did those bolters
i see, a cut-down scope, and some trimming, but for the barrel did you use plastic tube? any wip pictures?
the barrels are smoke launchers tubes with the end filled with green stuff and then drilled out, and your right about the cut down scope.

the eyes were done with scab red then blood red then fiery orange, with less of each subsequent paint. then a little spot of white once thats all done.

The conversions on the bolters are great, you should get even more browny points for those and now people migt stop nagging you about fluff!

this is whats left to come
1 more tac squad, 2 predators, a vindicator, a dreadnought and the last thing i do will probably be the commander in terminator armour.
the weapons are all done for the last tac squad, all the marine bolters are slightly extended and the sarg has a bulpup version. the dreadnought's made as are 1 of the predators and the vindicator.
i'm hoping to have the rest of the 2nd tac squad and the predator painted by the end of this weekend then i'll start painting the dreadnought.
