Thanks for your feedback, guys ! 2nd Platoon is now compleatly assembled and undercoated. Have started to paint squad nr 2. Their Chimera is almost done too. Also working on inking more of the Russes.

@ Volchek : Little is right, its the Hellhammer gun ive used. Its only shortend, roughly in half, and atached to a "stubby" Battlecannon so it still moves.

I'm curious about how you are painting your vehicles.
Do you high light or dry brush them after you add the wash?
I plan on also using the predator's turret on my chimera, but I will scratch build them to save money.

That chocolate chip desert camo came out nice.
I have done it on 1/35th scale figures and I know it is time consuming.
I ruled it out on my minis as I would go crazy trying to do a hundred plus of them.
I ended up copying le Mediko's style a bit he did for his guardsmen.
Really great stuff.

@ Tommygun : First of, as im colorblind and realy havent learnd to paint properly youll have to forgive me for not using "the right technics"

I do drybrush them afterwards. First with the underlaying color and then with Bleachedbone. As for those Predator turrets, i got all of my friends leftover ones + bought some for friends who needed Rhinos. I kept the Predator sprues and they got the Rhino.

Glad you liked my Guards ! And yes, it takes time to do that camo but i like it so it stays.

@ Explodingboy :Thanks, i too like the old version of the HK-missile much more than the new one. Thats why im using them.

Got a question for all you people out there.

Planing to do a squad off rough-riders, on bikes. Made a test model and a test "lance". As i had panzerfausts on my D.A.K. guards i just gave them a bit more modern look on these guys.







So, what do you think ? Go or dont ?

Jolly nice work, old boy! Needless to say, I join with you two in preference for the old HK system. I'm not quite sure on the lance. Maybe if you do a spot more on it I'll form a firmer opinion.

Rough Riders on Bikes? Oh, I might steal that ideal for my Traitor Guard, I was gonna do Daemonic mounts, but bikes would be so much easier. Good thinking pal!!!

Love the Rough Riders. I have been thinking bikes would be better! I just can not come at horses for a Mech Regt. Its not like they bite!

Thanks, Mates ! Ill try to do some more detailing on those lances, but as i want them to be sort of "tube-launcher" or panzerfaust like i dont whant to over do it.

@ Dragoon king : Steal away, but i cant take the cred. for the idea i have seen it before here on the forum. My own old D.A.K. guards used bikes aswell.

@ col. Jacka : Just what i thought, why horses when you can go by bike ?

Sad to say, no, my squats are mineworkers in overalls and safety helmets.
