I think that orks fit very well in "Tinnhats" dont you ?

British 8th Army Orks...inspired!

I take it the Bloodaxe clan found an old copy of 'Commando' comic and were inspired to become desert rats!

Can I suggest Ork versions of the old Universal Carriers for Trukks?:

Very cool. I think the Lewis guns are my favorite bit. You're going to need some portee mounts to serve as warbuggies, but please, don't curse your orks with Crusader tanks

How did you make the helmets? Are they from a 1/35th plastic set?

Yepp, they are from various kits that ive managed to "steal" from my friends in the modelling branch

No, they will not have any Crusaders ( with lousy fan-belts or was that sprockets, i never learn ). They have to narrow tracks for that "finer" Ork look

Desert Rats were always my second favourite force in WWII. Numer one always had to be the Poles. Excellent work and you have to keep the Universal Carriers, especially with the beautiful red paintjob

Decided to redo my Battlewagon. I turned it into a fast big trukk (well sort of ).

Its lowered and ive used the front wheels from the trukk.

I will use the leftover trackunits on my other Battlewagon. This will be made like Keiths in WD 359. But as my Orks fight against IGs, i will use Chimera and Leman Russ parts instead.
