I agree with the fact that it's so cool to have a MonGorkMeury theme for your army, definitely original and your scratchbuild really shine with such cool theme, will be watching![]()
Like this one a lot! Personally I think the gw trukk is a bit too scrappy. To the point where it doesn't look like the fast vehicle it is. Your conversion is a lot more my style. Also like that you take some effort to find unique wheels for most vehicles. They're good eye catchers.
Nice to see you working on something... Not IG.I'll be watching this.

@ G.Hawke: Thanks, hope i can keep you as a watcher as i keep a close eye on your ork projects
@ inaith: Thanks alot. Glad to hear that im working in the right direction with my orks
@ TheBearminator: Well my squats and IG need someone to fight, dont they ?These orks have been on the drawingboard for a long time as the thought of adversarys for my imperials on the desertworld of Mareth.
I think the kromlech wheels look "faster" then the GW ones, thats why i tend to use them as often as i can.
But to be honest, my orks are sort of disciplined blood axes so they are almost IG
Hope to give you some updates later today![]()

Right, todays small update.
Ive made a ammorunt for the buggy.
Then i found a grot-rigger for the venator. I also did the bars under the guns.
I kept the "gun-hood" on the gunwagon. Added some plates and alot of rivets.
I did lengthen the gun by about one inch, to make it look better. Also added some dents and rivets to the engine.
Think its ready for painting.
Mr eBay got me a nice big trakk model. I just removed the tusks as they dont fit with my theme.
Havent decided if ill add anything to the big trakk![]()
Thats just about it for today, folks![]()

Yeah right, you do need some enemies to keep you on your toes.
Yep, its a FW model. Ive (sofar) just removed the big tusks on the ram. Like i said above, i dont know if ill do something else to it.
The cab is so tight that i cant even fit a tinhat........might give it some shootas.......

oooh, i forgot you did orks as well as your guard- that gunwagon is superb, i've got one of the forgeworld ones that i'm going to build into a mekboy junka and yours has given me so many ideas to borrow.
Senex Puerilis- just your average model making blog.

This log keeps getting better and better. I can't think of anything else to say apart from "Wow!"
Trying to contact living relatives of Sam 'Jock' Wilson, KIA 10.06.44, UK army id 2764432, from Morley, West Yorkshire, England. Served with Black Watch Regiment & 6 Commando.
Facing the Tau's Third Expansion, many Guard units were routed from the field or driven to suicide by the horrifying and infectious battle-cry of Commander Shadowsun [redacted for the safety of the reader]: "I'm blu*...da ba dee...da ba di...da b* dee...da ba di..."
Looking forward to seeing what you do with that big track. Just started on my Scrap trucks.![]()

So we have SDKFZ's creative genius...unleashed because the Orks do not have building standards like the Imperium...combined with the vast array of extra vehicle bits you have. You could create the largest mechanized Waaagh the world has even seen.
Are you painting up the buggy and the truck?
Cheers,
