    (Continued from previous page)

    And finally….

    Dad and lad.....

And a few bits I painted as I went, some as subassemblies...

I wasn’t totally convinced after I had taken the photographs, and I think it could look better in a different setting with better lighting, but it’s grown on me now, and I quite like it. As I mentioned I’m currently working on the Cygor. I made a new loincloth to help further differentiate it from the Ghorgon and the paint scheme will definitely make it stand out (although I’m hoping the two paint jobs will make them sit quite nicely together).

Thank you for looking and Happy New Year to you!

Am I sensing a slight resurgence in Warseer? I hope so, because your plog is one of my favourites.
Lovely work as usual, I like the way you've used different painting techniques to create different textures. And those metals are *chef's kiss*

Awesome paintjobs on your miniatures, so much good stuff, hard to pick a favorite. The Ghorgon and Chaos spawn are just superb!

Thanks for the up close! Was wondering how his rear side was coming along! Seriously though, the stipling is really working, I like how this is progressing.

Look like he's been waxing! I really like the short brush strokes; fantastic 2D texture.

wow. This project log started out amazing and yet it still keeps getting even better and better.

How do you do the 'stippling' on the fur for these recent guys? Are you saying you are not carefully and deliberately placing each little line with a fine brush?

    mousekiller: haha! Thank you!

    Codsticker: thank you :-)

Braad: Thank you! I think the giant is still my favourite

    Muette: thank you very much!

Naitsabes: thank you! Thatís pretty much the way I do it. I build up layers of stippling, with each layer going lighter where required.

Glad to see Warseer back up again. Been working on this Cygor since the start of the year but only finished it the other weekend. Had trouble with my eyes, and family health issues, and basically lots of things going on where painting wasnít that much of a priority, but I got back into it a few weeks ago after things settled and here I am.

    More to follow...

    Ö continued

Big birthday for me yesterday. Had a great weekend away camping/countryside beer crawl with some friends over the weekend, and yesterday my dad brought his Soul Wars Stormcast for a game of Open Play. First time either of us have played since Christmas 2019!

Disco Cygor and the boys moving up the table

My favourite model of the match :-)

And my White Dwarf arrived just before my dad left to go home so I got to show him my model on the letters page

Iíve got the week off and I have some bits out on my hobby desk ready for kitbashing, so hopefully Iíll have something to show soon.

    Thanks for looking!

Fantastic fur on that Cygor and the glow seems to give of an unpleasant heat... Congratulations on the mini in White Dwarf!

I wasnít happy with the way my painting turned out on the Great Brayshaman model and always wanted to do another, but rather than paint the same model again I decided to kitbash a Gavespawn Brayshaman instead. There are a few more pieces to stick on there yet, and Iíll be painting his staff and cloak as subassemblies, but itís pretty much ready for greenstuff now.
    Anyway, here he is.

My other kitbashed Brayshaman is called Lars Longhand, and this one is going to be called Sideways Peter. I like the idea of them having once lived among the citizens of the Mortal Realms, before the warping touch of chaos left its mark upon body and mind, both of them being driven out by kith and kin into the wild.
Hoping to get some paint on this before the end of the month.

    Have a great week folks!

That thing looks hideous, and incredibly chaotic. Amazing work.
