I wasn't even close to first place in the Venom Competition, but I think I ended up in second place as usual...
Here are my take on the Razorwing Flocks, using leaves from the fantasy trees as a base.
Quickly painted to a tournament, so they might get redone some time.
Excellent stuff, the best Venoms I've seen so far. Did you use an airbrush to paint them?
I like those swarms, they're looking quite cool. I think they could look more "3D", some higher and some lower, so they look a little less organized.

What is the orange leg from, and is not alittle bit big compaired to the other leg? atleast the foot look bigger. Shall be interested to se how you paint them.

The leg is from an old Blood Bowl Elf (see blurry background below)
It's actually a lot smaller than ordinary legs, but the foot is most definitely to large, which has been fixed now.

I think I'll base all blood brides on daemonettes.
Here is a start.
I've mixed in corsair legs in all my test models and experimented with face masks.
Haven't decided yet if all models must have a mask or not.
I have finished four bloodbrodes based on wyches and the upper body of daemonettes.
The legs with boots are from the Dark Elf Corsairs.
Modelled masks are made by producing a stamp of the Eldar Harlequins' masks.
I'll have to take better pictures after spraying them white, as I'm having difficulty taking good pictures as it is.
It's a clever idea to use the daemonette torsos, though I'm not sure they fully work in all of those examples - but perhaps the slightly contorted postures were the look you were going for as they are manic, alien gladiators afterall.
I really like the mohawk and masks - can imagine some cool paintjobs on them.
I can't wait to see them painted!

I made imprints in greystuff of the regular harlequins masks and then stamped masks of greystuff on the plastic dark eldar and daemonette heads.
Not very difficult, but the results vary a lot, so I have to redo many aswell.
I think they came very nicely, not sure if they scream harliquin outright. But definitely do scream lithe killers.
Fantastic Venom conversion. Very original idea, great execution and stunning paint job.
I always wanted to make a full harlequin army. I wish you luck with your project. If you keep the venom level on the whole army, it will be breath taking force.
