So when will we see some paints on these girls?

I'll start experimenting with painting models in the week to come, but most painting will be done after most of the army is built.


I've built a couple of warriors aswell, one of them with the upper arm from a high elf archer.



Here are two Trueborn with blasters and the same blaster-warrior as above for comparison.
I have used the capes from Corsairs and the blaster is made of a disintigrator and a rifle.

I'm not sure if they'll have shoulder pads or not. Any ideas?

They're looking pretty sweet, have you thought of changing the masks slightly so each model has a unique mask?

I think that will be to much work for to little effect, but they will all be painted differently.
And since they are sort of hand made, they aren't completely identical.

A couple of new models, but mostly a much better picture as the models are now undercoated.
The Trueborn got shoulder pads now. Not sure if it was an improvement or not.

I'm thinking of perhaps having jester hats on my Harlequins.

And I'm starting to test painting today, so hpoefully there will be new pictures tomorrow.

I whould say go for it whit the jester hats, i think they will fit the theme you are going with very well and i have seen it done before, and that looked nice.

Complete agreement with Zis, absolutely go for it! You have done a tremendous job with your Harlie-themed army so far, keep going!

The paintjobs looking nice so far. Has quite a bit of it been done using washes?

On this model I have used a lot of dilluted colours and flow improver.
Quite a bit of washes has been used aswell.
I plan on using translucent colours and washes as a theme for the whole army and also try to learn to make freehand patterns.
I'll try to master, or at least learn, these methods better than I know them right now.
My last two armies were made with a dipping medium as the last stage on one and the other with extensive drybrushing.

Most of my pictures are work in progress, but the Star Wars army was finished two years ago, but I haven't made any presentation pictures of it yet and keep telling me that I will.
The destroyers are crisis suits.

Cool. I'm a big fan of your Harlequins mate. Lovely conversions that don't interrupt the composition of the base models but enhance them significantly. The paint scheme is still pretty awesome too.
