    Legality of Bo5A?

Ok, does anyone know what GW's official line is on using Bo5A mini's in WFB?

We all know that LOTR is the subject of the New Line contract which disallows the use of them in fantasy (although some claim this has been lifted.), or at least allows it but means your army can never be used in 'official' material.

But what about Battle of Five Armies? It's been mentioned to me in another thread that they are not a part of the New Line contract (I assume the Hobbit and all associated franchises are owned by the Tolkien Estate). Since we can't e-mail GW any more, and we've had Gav Thorpe and a few other big names posting on here, i wondered if any knew what the official line is?

I say because those Eagles would make excellent crow swarms ...
I'm just surprised i remembered my old log in details.

BO5A figures are not covered by the newline agreement and there is therefore no restriction on using them with other GW games they are GW figures after all. I've never had any problem using BO5A minis for games of warmaster I know its not warhammer but its still a GW game.
