BO5A miniatures

Hi guys. I've recently noticed that BO5A soldiers are fused one to another by their sides. I thought they were single miniatures but it seems not like this. Is my impression true? Thanks.

Yes, that is correct. The figures are cast as a strip (two strips go on each base) and there is no gap between each figure.
