Did anyone spot the little potion bottle? made using technique off this great website: http://www.gamedecor.com/abasworld/T...20trinkets.htm

It is an ogre kingdoms man trap but I only had one (I did toy with the idea of making it on a moveable tile). Demonslave asked earlier about the 3d objective rooms (eg chasm) and how I was going to do them..... Think Im going to do some basic rooms for a while and when I'm confident I'll have a go at one like his (which is amazing!). I then might 'raise up' all my tiles by adding to their bases (feet?) andmaking some ascending and decending corridors. Managed to get on the laser cutter again today and made myself a raised platform for the warriors tomb

That's cool, lots of useful ideas on that page you linked.

The start of the Tomb Chamber is good, I like how all planned out and neatly cut your construction work is (unlike mine, which involve hacking at stuff with a rusty knife)!

Oooh nice.. and creating a depth for the pieces would be great. I think Eboli has the same notion with his Egyptian themed set too

I REALLY need me some cork tiles. Also, one of the awesomest links ever. Half of what you find there is pretty "duhh... Why didn't I think of that?", which is why it's so genius. Half of it is SO easy to pull off, you would never think of it.

I am deffo getting myself a LOT of books for a book shelf real soon!!

Random bad guy! 'Painted' using only gryphon sepia and thraka green

He looks really straight up and crisp. Got to love the GW washes. What was the skin colour base? I have several metal mummies of similar theme I'm painting at the moment.

I like the new section, no worries to be had on the overkill of green.. blend it back in or add even more detail

I sprayed him white then used 2 coats of unwatered down washes. So there wasn't really a base coat, just two 'thick' washes for skin and rags. #LazyPainter.
Think you're right about adding more detail to over come the green

started adding detail to the tomb.... not sure about the marble, and still have more detail to add (rat and skeletal bits)

what do you think? black marble isnt stuck so can change it easy!

The cobwebs and the green creeping in really add to the piece. The marble is looking great too.

I am really liking your stuff. The marble is really nicely done and the stone work looks really effectice. I must confess to not being a huge fan of the spider web at the moment - the idea is good but it just doesn't look right somehow. Perhaps you should just use smaller pieces or a good trick I like is using a hot glue gun to make a small blob, tap with your finger and stretch (and repeat lots of times) and it looks really good (practise on something first so you dont spoil your tiles)

Thanks for the comments! I know what you mean Daemonslave, think the spiders webs look a bit.... geometric/too neat. Will try the hot glue thing and /or make the hemming a bit more frayed.
