NMM Knights of the white wolf; TBO asserts his insanity!

Well, * chuckle * I thought I had already made obvious my craziness in my last.. 8 (dang.. ) painting logs, but I figure it needs to be slightly more obvious, so I present you now with my latest project, one which I think (surprisingly) I will be able to actually get finished, and with acceptable speed. This latest project of mine, drumroffels please, * drumroffels * ... knights of the white wolf..! ..in NMM! ..with actual wolves!

I was going to go to an 800points (per person) doubles tournament end of januari with the manager of my local GW as my teammate, and we rapidly bought ourselves a full knight army in one go, but regrettably he had to cancel a few days ago. However I'm not gonna let the army collect dust, nay! I'll paint both portions and add 800 points (I saw an awesome idea for an ulrican steam tank on CMON, some of you might know it) and bash faces in 2400pts, ulric style!

The 800 points we both had were 10 knights with great weapons, 5 demigryphs, a mounted warrior priest and 10 archers for me, and 10 knights of the inner circle, 4 demigryphs, a mounted warrior priest, 5 pistoliers and 10 archers for him.

We were also aiming to go for a best-painted-army, but because we won't be going to the upcoming tournament, there's no need to keep it secret anymore I suppose, so I'll share some of the work in progress I posted on a facebook group we created I'll make some better pictures in the future.

I deleted some of the logs from my sig too make room within the character-count, as I had all 8 of them in my sig before and I was often at the limit with adding the newest updates

Alright, so I am currently pondering whether this inspires me or simply makes me cry, knowing that I won't achieve the same results.

Thanks for all the replies everyone, it's incredibly stimulating! Right now I'm working on a lengthy paper for university for coming friday, but after that I'm free for about two weeks, meaning I can do a lot of work. In order to bring the 1600pt list up to 2400 points I'm going to add a lvl4, a grandmaster with runefang and a steamtank, and for the steamtank I'm incredibly inspired by this awesome Ulrican steamtank: http://www.coolminiornot.com/249514?browseid=3961880

The funny thing is GW even alludes to the existance of large ridden wolves in the Demigryph entry where it refers to legendary creatures ridden by other orders, one of which being the "winterwolves of middenheim", if I recall correctly.

Pistolier legs and some of their torso's. I also used a couple of space wolf torsos which I filed and clipped down a bit on the sides and backs. The arms and heads are then a mixture of space wolf and empire knight bits.
