I was going to start making more chimera half tracks but made a stug destroyer instead! STUG LIFE! The barrel isn't as thick as it looks in the pictures!

Thanks Nitromor! The forge furnaces are burning hot! I'm going to need to take a break on the fabricating and get some painting done. I knocked out 2 more of the Mars Axis pattern chimeras and made a tutorial on how to make them over in the modeling and painting section. http://www.warseer.com/forums/showth...imera-Tutorial

A real Forge World happening at your place mate. Like the timber on the side of the Flac Wagon.

Thanks Jacks! The buggy with the wood is actually an AT platform modeled after the RSO Pak 40, with 2 lascannon it got a little more punch. The paneling is very similar to the German halftrack with the AA though and that might be my next project!

I was able to knock out a decent amount of painting over the summer. Glad to have the Macharius vulcan done after several years waiting inactive reserve due to not being painted. I feared I didn't do a good job cleaning it or used a defective primer because the paint was rubbing off a little too easy but once I got it on, I covered it in several layers of dullcote and its holding up much better. First game I got it in over the summer and it murdered a large unit on tough Mars robots. The lascannon sentinel did well too, hiding off to a corner sinking rounds into distracted enemy armor. The last pic shows skulls seem to be a unifying theme of my forces.

I then modded the passengers in a assault centaur I picked up to better reflect the attitude in which I deploy and use them in battle. I love these little armored golf carts! I plan to add one more enclosed/turreted centaur eventually so I can run 6 as a full troops choice. Last pic is dramatic capture of the last objective in a game. A naval crewman carrying sensitive information from a downed imperial reconnaissance craft was run down due to unfavorable risk of exfiltration deep in enemy territory.

Finally as of this weekend, the Mars Axis pattern storm chimera production run is completed! Painting 2 squads worth of troops to put in them is what wound up taking most of the time! Ill be working on my stugg/destroyer and Mortian tank hunter next.

Thanks Jacka! that little ride has a lot of attitude and it's pretty funny so I gave it a flag to call even moreatention to itself.
I managed to play in a tournament a couple of weeks ago and ran a fully mechanized 1750pt list with a vindicare providing overwatch. I didn't win but I held my own with fairly light casualties surprisingly.

I'm really digging the vehicles, they capture a functional yet ornate feel. The skull mask Kriegers are also a great little touch, keep up the great conversion work!

Thanks guys! Got my first completed project of 2020 finally. I finished my Mortian tank hunter with Krieg mods, hope the Cadians don't mind I altered their old standard. I plan to use it as a Valdor tank hunter. Took pics of it next to my Krieg Destroyer Tank Hunter for comparison and a group shot with its specialist detachment. I'm switching over to my Imperial Navy assets to finish up two Arvus Liters I've had back logged for ages.

I also hate the bug menace! My best gaming friend is a die hard bug player and pretty competitive so Im always trying to circle the wagons and lay down overwhelming fields of fire.
