    While Warseer had a bit of down-time (or at least "too ugly and broken to work"-time) I took pictures of the last mini I made last year, a Chinese Sd Kfz 222. And a small forest I based.

    Judging by the info on your blog, the Latvians were supplied by the Germans so I assume they were in a similar position to the Finns; is that right?

    Similar, they "invited" the Soviets in 1940 to build army bases and reeducate non-communists (and didn't fight like the Finns), so when Barbarossa started they were quite enthusiastic and hoped it was a liberation. There's a book about the Baltic states in the 1940's called Between Giants by Prit Buttar, that title says it all really.
