Okay so after reading through the new Dark Eldar codex, I went to the main rulebook and, long story short, I found a curious rules interaction. The logic goes like this:

1: Deep Strike mishaps occur when the Deep Striker cannot be placed, because it would be too close to an enemy unit or on top of an allied unit.

2: Skimmers, should they end their movement someplace they cannot be placed, are moved the minimum amount until they can be placed.

3: If a deep striking skimmer were to land in a place where they couldn't be placed (thus ending their movement there) they would simply be moved until they could be placed properly. Hence deep striking skimmers cannot mishap.

Am I reading that wrong? Cause if not, I've got some plans for Deep Striking Raiders with Incubi.
