I've seen a few attempts to get a game going on Warseer but they don't seem to last much past character creation.

That's not to say it's impossible but as a general rule for online games you need to find a GM and players who can reliably post every few days come hell or high water.

More of a dice roller than a long expressive poster - the games on this site in the past have been angled more at the roleplaying, collaborative writing of sorts.

I've been helping to keep a play by post site afloat for a couple of years now which is why I say that regular posting is vital. You'd be surprised how easily a game can die - even a drawn out character creation stage can result in half your players going AWOL before the first post and the whole thing falls flat waiting for them to check back in.

I wouldn't mind doing some RPG online here. I can reliably post online regularly.

Most of my real-life RPGers are into Fantasy/D&D stuff, so I would prefer to stay away from that genre if possible. however, a beggar can not be a chooser.
