Ah, well, I've just not been on the forum for ... errr ... a time. Trying to wean myself back into forum life gently and thought I'd start with your cool thread.

Well it's been awhile indeed! Nearly a year since I have touched this project. I need to start doing some stuff here and since I now have four days a week of my life back lets start with some Squats! Commando Squats as well!

Just getting my eye in again. I wanted to add a Bolt Gun and Chain Sword to Brown Troop Leader. I sourced the bits from the Marine Scouts which as you can see are a good fit. Jackified them with Grenades, pistol hand grips and they were done. Except I'm out of practice this weapons change took me three hours, had a devil of a time with my pin vice. In the end it **** itself. Got there in the end just some green stuff work to do.

Have you heard the rumours around a potential return of the Squats?

Rumours are from a "trusted" source on You-tube. The first of the rumours was "there are going to be some Squats" and the second one was "there are going to be a bunch of Squats... more than just a kill-team". The source has been correct on all previous rumours... but I am ALWAYS sceptical, when it comes to our diminutive little warriors. Only time will tell and, as yet, there isn't a predicted timescale.

His video is a bit better than the one he got the information from... he's more to the point .

Now, it may have taken you a while to swap the weapons on that Space Dwarf... but you have done a nice job . The grenades look good too .

Thanks for the info, and we will see. More then happy with the Squat figures I am currently working on. I will post another picture of a small mod on one of the Officer figures I did later. I think this figure is the best one you have done.

Maybe it wasn't expected? Even so, every time it goes down for a while, I always think it may be the last time we see it ... I've been part of a number of forums that have just disappeared .

It was only supposed to be for a few hours...no, I did not get the email until after it had started. However I am not on any of the social media platforms.
