    Sons of the 15th

Decided to take a little stroll into the Horus Heresy with the Thousand Sons. These are my efforts so far, all fully magnetised so everything is fully interchangeable. The Contemptor has the option of Volkite Culverin as well as the Kheres Assault Cannon and a claw or fist so far. Quick question as I don't have any of the books yet....should the sergeant have a vexilla?

Vexillia usually goes on a random squad member during the Heresy-Era. Enables loads of interesting modelling in regards to actual banners, reliquaries, holo-tech-projecters...

Nice modelling on the Contemptor, and good choice in loadout. The Sergeant looks a tad uncomfortable from this angle, got any more shots? Also, can't wait for paint!

Some more pics of my progress, so this is the special weapons trooper from the squad - both arms magnetised to allow repurposing the trooper for different roles (i.e. heavy weapons trooper) as well as weapon swops including a regular trooper.

I then got even more ambitious and magnetised a heavy weapons trooper to the same standards i.e. weapons fully interchangeable on a base trooper. I had to magnetise one of the rocket arms at the elbow!

Let me know if you can think of any other ideas

Well I haven't been idle, knocked this lil' fella together. Magnetised for arm/weapon swaps.

Army looks to be coming along nicely, you just getting what you fancy/looks good or do you have a general list/theme in mind?

At the moment I'm just buying all the pretties! Although any suggested lists are most welcome. I've also started to buy the paints for a test mini so hopefully if it ever stops raining I can get undercoating

Very very fond of 1k sons cataphractii termies, specifically the legion specific ones as they have 2 wounds, a 3++ and are psychers, multiple hqs to mitigate the legion weaknesses and a robust all around way to list build ( i.e. dont really to much on the warp for everything).

You going for the fw upgrade set, 40k version, plain termies or something else?
