Imperial Logistics/Civilian Vehicle Thread

In the Grim Darkness of the far future there may be war. But there are still people that need to get from A to B, Cargo to be delivered, and emergencies to be dealt with. So I thought a thread to highlight some of the unsung heroes of the Imperium! As building war machines all day long can be dull! I've built several projects which i'll showcase here, but feel free to post your own too!

Ta mate. You need the Supply and Logistic vehicles to add colour to your force. The BOARS pictured for instance are the Ammo Trucks for my Armageddon Basilisks. I have a full Medicare center where the Ambo is parked and hence all the mules with wounded on them.

These look great! What are the base models you used to make them?

The Mules come from "Curious Constructs" and the BOARS I bought from DigetsDavid here on Warseer. They where his design. I have six. They use Chimera tracks and parts plus 1/35 canopy's and trays.

I built a non-combat vehicle a few weeks back as a sort of exercise. Inspired largely by the galvanic servohaulers kit, I wanted something that looked industrial for my chaos renegades force. I opted for simple and mostly harmless, and thus was born Heretic Jones, and his mildly daemon-possessed light carrier.



Heretic Jones is dedicated to the chaos god of slacking-off off and not getting horribly obliterated. Because of this disposition he manages to get by without anyone else really noticing him.



Once, Heretic Jones' supervisor tried to press him into combat as a counts-as Centaur, but during deployment he was suddenly nowhere to be found.



I want to make more of these.

I just picked up a cheap Revell SnapTite Mack Fire Pumper Plastic Model Kit from Michaels. After the 50% off coupon you can get online and taxes it was $17.50 CDN. It could be painted up as a pumper truck for a spaceport or converted into a transport.
