I think you can leave as is but the black feather tips would look great.

Last few Eldar left to paint. Some plastic Dire Avengers made from scraps obtained while I was acquiring plastic jetbikes for the Shining Spears. Plus two old metal models.

Thank you Rogue,
Did up the four plastic Dire Avengers (well one real Dire Avenger, three made from ruined bits from an eBay lot, and an old metal Exarch)

Rescuing old bits is always satisfying, and I have a soft spot for Dire Avengers in general so I love these. That Warlock on jet bike looks awesome! I’m waaay out of touch with newer sculpts these days - did you convert it? Lovely painting effort.
Banshees look excellent en masse like that![]()
I always loved the Dire Avengers; the old models and the new generation. They seemed like Stormtroopers for the IG though: there was always better value in other units.

No, not I. I don't think so any way. I bought a handful of Eldar models second hand I don't remember buying any bikes.

WIP.
Because you cannot seal the model with the clear canopy attached, otherwise you get clouding. So that is why the model is still in separate parts.
Anyone notice the other change to the model from the original?

No, what's the change?
Just finished reading The Path Of The Eldar, so seeing an Alaitoc collection using models from when I was a kid has grabbed my attention. I remember when those canopies first came out and us kids were confused about how you were supposed to paint them, not understanding the concept of 'sub-assemblies' or painting without primer from a can at that age. Really like the camo pattern, was wondering how I'd do an interesting blue if I did a Kill team or similar following on from the book...
