    The evergrowing Waaagh

    Hello all,

I'm a longtime greenskinplayer( more of a goblinplayer actually) and have collected in the time that I play warhammer a massive greenskin army from around 25 000 pts. Since GW introduced Age of sigmar I haven't touched my greenskins ( except for my blood bowl team).

Recently some friends from my painting group want to play warhammer again. They started collecting ogres, and since they are painting their armies I decided to join the recent painting frenzy and pick up my painting brush again. Some of you might remember my old blog, but since photobucket is crap now I decided to start a new blog with pictures from the start in the blog and not halfway.

The first unit I finished is a unit from 29 manbiters( a unit from the gnoblar army, that can be used as dogs of war in a greenskin army).

    Re: The evergrowing Waaagh

Sunday I did finish 9 night goblins to finish a unit of 50 night goblins with hand weapon and shield.

I did also take a group shot from all my painted 6ed night goblins. I do own 2 more painted units from this edition of gobbos but they are not painted on the same level so they are not included in the shot.

Currently I'm painting 20 night goblins to expand a unit from 30 to 50 models. When I finish that model I will probably paint a character or some trolls.

    Hi guys,

No update of painted models. But I just received some old school models.

I received 3 of these beauties. Those are man manglers from 1987 if I'm not mistaken.

Together with these models I got some 3 rock chukka's and a hobgoblin boltthrower.

    Hi all,

Yesterday I did finish 20 night goblins to add to an existing unit of 30. The freshly painted night goblins look better than the older goblins in the unit but overall the unit looks pretty good.

Today I will start painting a unit of 10 spider riders, since I only have 10 painted ones.

    Hi guys,

the progress on the models is going a bit slower since I'm taking my time to finish the models.

Currently I'm busy on a unit of 10 spider riders.

    Have a good new year!

    Hi guys,

the first unit of 2018 is finished. I will try to take better pictures since I took the pictures last night.

Next up is a unit of 50 goblins, I only need to paint 14 goblins to finish this unit.

Damn, you are a fast painter - and a good one. Spiders look particularly effective.

    Hi guys,

I had a few busy weeks so not much time to pick up the paintingbrush. Today I finally managed to paint a bit.

I'm currently busy painting a unit of 50 common goblins. I hope I can finish them next weekend.

    Hi guys,

I managed to finish my unit of 50 common gobbos.

Since I have done quite a few rank and file units, I think it is time to paint something else. Any guesses what I'm painting currently?

@joe: thanks, I'm glad you like them.

@modernkiwi: thanks, lets hope they will be effective on the battlefield.

    Hello all,

It has been a while since I posted some progress on the army. I had a few very busy months so not much time to pick up the painting brush. But yesterday I did manage to finish a unit. I was going to paint a unit of 8 trolls but then a friend of mine donated some old goblins that needed some love.

Next up are the trolls in the background.

    Hope you guys like them.

    Hello,

TOday no update on painted models but some pictures from my 2000 pts army that I used today.

I faced an Ogre army. We played for fun so I allowed the ogre player to take mournfangs as a core unit. He fielded two units of 5. One had a tyrant and one had a Bsb. I didn't help the goblins ( or more the chariots including Grom and Giant crushed his army.

    Hello all,

I finally did some more painting.

Yesterday I did finish a stegadon that got captured by some forest goblins. I have still no clue as what it will be used. My friends allowed me to use it as an engine of the goods in my goblin army...

Next up is finishing a wolfchariot. I only need to do the crew so I think that will be done in the next few days.

    Cheers,
    WGG

2 great updates to your army, I had to look twice before recognizing the trolls, what a difference a headswap makes.

You can always use the stegadon as a chariot for a hero going by the base size. I would keep houseruling it as it is, it looks awesome all crowded up in green.

    Hi guys,

Yesterday I did manage to finish one of my wolfchariots( I still have 15 others to paint).

I hope you guys like it. Next up is a unit of 25 goblins with spears.

@littejoe: What head swaps do you mean? I didn't do any on the trolls

    Cheers,
    WGG
