William the Bastard Vignette For Hastings Demo

    Hi,

After a (very) long sabbatical away from the painting and modelling table i'm pleased to report that i'm back!

A few pics of a vignette for a demo that I've been working on. with the return of The Tapestry this year I find myself inspired to pick up the gloves again and get this demo to a show hopefully near you- still got quite a lot of work to do.......

    Cheers,
    Darrell.

Very nicely done - looks like the figures are from Crusader Miniatures.

What did you use for the base? It looks larger than what I am used to seeing for gaming vignettes (as opposed to full dioramas).
Who is Griefbringer? Read his poem.

That's a great job Atheling_2006, great, realistic colours and scene. I'm kind of excited about the tapestry coming over (although why I never just went to Normandy to see it, I don't really know).

    Thanks DarthSte

Ditto on both points.... I really cannot think of a reason why I didn't pop over too!
