Hoots does Star Wars Legions

I needed a bit of a break from painting 15mm tanks. Got the Legions starter box for Christmas so here we go.

ok Vader is Vader and I’m not gonna go off and do something fun with different colors. The Snowtroopers I really don’t see as being dedicated Cold weather troops, but like many other forces would be trained in them. And their armor is definitely very different from Stormtrooper armor, might even work... I see them more as heavy infantry and so decided to paint them as such. More in line with General Veers.

Stormtroopers are like Vader, only so much to do with them.

Rebel scum are rebel scum, but still decided to give them a uniform look, ok only one done now...but the uniform will be uniform.

The troopers look a lot like common troopers to me If you want to paint a bit more, or make them stand out, maybe you can give them colour schemes like the clone troopers from the clone wars? add a bit of orange or blue to their armour. Keep up the good work!

Good idea, I will keep that in mind for future Stormies.

Here we have a bit of Rebel Scum, a Sgt trooper and an AT-RT . The AT can have variable load outs as far as weapons go, decided to keep it simple with the large Blaster cannon for now. Do have the flamethrower and other weapon, and they seem to stay in place with just friction.

And of course some loyal Imperial troops. My army is more or less themed for urban fighting. So the Scout on the bike and the Heavy Infantry Sgt (Snow Trooper) are kitted out in blacks and grays. The Stormie is in standard white armor, but has been on the ground long enough to get dirty. Also gave him some blue trim, as recommended by Donaneim, to differentiate between squads.

Not Star Wars, but Steampunk is Sci Fi right? This is character from the now defunct Dystopian Legions, so still a Legions project, and yes I do have the Clockodile and that will be on the table soon.

Ok it’s a General Veers mini, but works great for Thrawn. Didn’t paint the rank insignia because it’s only a generals rank. Hopefully they will make a Thrawn mini. Until then...
